If you have any questions or need support with your application, please do not hesitate to contact us directly so that we can get started together.

  1. Initial consultation with the institution: Firstly, an open initial discussion should be held with the desired educational institution. We can support you in this if you wish.
  2. ApplicationThe corresponding application must be submitted to the responsible funding organisation, the district or youth welfare office. Funding applications for mental restrictions (e.g. ADHD, ADD, autism spectrum disorder, lack of concentration) must be submitted to the responsible youth welfare office, where you will find the responsible organisation if the Munich City Youth Welfare Office is responsible. All applications are also available at the respective offices. Applications for funding for physical and/or mental disabilities must be submitted to the responsible district.
  3. Needs assessmentThe funding organisation will review your application, the medical report and the statement from the training institution. This usually takes between three and six weeks. Please allow this time, especially if it is your first application and the school year is coming up.
  4. Decision The sponsor decides on the scope of the authorisation based on the timetable and the individual needs of your child.
  5. Transmission the authorisation/selection of the school companion: the decision from the funding body is sent directly to us and responsibility for the companion is transferred. Together with you, we will select a suitable companion for your child. A pre-selection is made on the basis of emotional and subject-specific criteria. You have the opportunity to get to know the selected person in a personal meeting. As soon as you have decided in favour of us and the companion, we will get in touch with the educational institution and start the accompaniment as soon as possible.
  6. Support and questionsWe will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the selection and application process. The prerequisite for our offer of support is the approval of a public organisation responsible for integration assistance.
